Point Arkwright

Rugged Headland

Soaring brahminy kite and sheer cliff faces ... the views from Point Arkwright's grassy headland are simply stunning. Located only a short 2km from Coolum Main Beach it is prized as a haven for land-based whale watching and turtles, with several purpose-built viewing platforms.  The lush rolling foredunes meet the crashing waves of Yaroomba beach and the views stretch all the way to Point Cartwright. Its also a great place to see the brahminy kites soaring through the sky.

Some of the first beach shacks in the area still remain with mix of unit-style development.  With only 16 streets in this suburb, it is a tightly held real estate location and a hot-spot for buyers.
