What makes a house a home?

I have always said that a house isn’t a home if it doesn’t feel lived in. Surround yourself with loved ones, comfortable furniture and memorable pieces that you and your family love and treasure.

What attracted you to your property?

Being able to lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the ocean. Also low maintenance to enjoy more relaxation time.

What do you love most about your property?

Looking out through all of our glass windows and doors to watch the ever changing hues and views of our beautiful beach and ocean, especially when the whales are returning south listening to the ever soundtrack of the ocean.

What makes for good design?

A design that is not only functional and practical but timeless as well.

Is there a particular design theme you are attracted to?

After moving to the Coast, obviously a relaxed coastal theme.

If you were selling what would be your number one MUST DO to get sale ready?

Declutter, declutter, declutter. After downsizing significantly from a large family home to a unit, it was hard at first but quite liberating at the same time.

When you are buying what is your number one tip to share?

Buy something that that you can imagine making memories in.

What was the first property you purchased?

It was a home at Scarborough on the Redcliffe Peninsula for $56,000 in 1987

What is your top investment tip?

Purchase a property that will have property growth and appeal to the next buyer

What do you love most about your suburb?

We have the best community feel, have everything that we need here in Coolum and of course our climate and beaches.
